There was a gentleman in The Great American Dollhouse Museum last week talking about this racing track. He was about 70. I couldn't believe it was in Lexington, but now I see it really was! How cool!

im too young to have raced there back then(im 33)but my dad and his friends did almost every wknd,i was 18 when i built my first car(69 nova ss)and the first place i made a pass was there on the old strip,thanks for putting this up.its nice to see it when it was more than just a road.

back in the sixties before I knew what Gassers were on the So side of Chicago was a greese monkey like me name Mr. Anthony and he had a primed grey 55-56 Shoebox, I fell in love with gassers eer since, I think he'd race at US30, anyone know Him?

Do We miss it? You bet. Dragstrip is now an industrial park but the strip is the main road. Great video.
