Game Cube Peripherals. Part 1

I have been wondering which game should I review next, and in the meantime I decided to take a look at the peripherals that the GameCube had. There are many but here I will show you only the ones I have.

im gonna buy the dk bongos and dk jungle beat, donkey konga 1 and 2 for the gamecube.

even if dk jungle beat is out on the wii with new play controls id prefer the dk bongos then the wiimote and nunchuk!

I agree with you there. The new play control thingie only worked with Pikmin, and it will work with Metroid Prime Trilogy. Everything is going to be wiimote waving insanity that only pisses gamers off.

Buying DK Jungle Beat, and Donkey Konga 1 and 2 is a much better plan, and if you look into it in the long term, it's even cheaper.

Great! You give the Cube the respect it deserves, best console of it's gen for me... I've got all of those peripherals, with an extra bongo controller for multiplayer, and the DDR Mario Mix carpet, it's amazing! Do you have it?

Hey, I have Donkey Konga 1 and 2, they're amazing, why do you say there're only 2 games for the bongos? Did Donkey Konga 2 make the cut in Europe? It's great, much better than the first one, and it's a shame Nintendo didn't release Donkey Konga 3 in America!

I sadly don't have the DDR Mario Mix game, because it was barely promoted here in Spain. There are copies, but I don't have it.

Also, I had no knowledge of DKonga 2, so maybe it didn't made the cut to Europe :-/ we usually miss the best games. I bet they will make Donkey Konga 3 and if we are lucky it will use the Bongos.

Games like Mario Party on Gamecube and there's a Japanese pinball game that uses the microphone. I actually still have one microphone lying around my house, but I think it's broken.

I just picked up the microphone, but I don't have any games that it works with. So while I wait to get those I have a question, What do you use the microphone for?

yeah, and dk jungle beat and donkey konga were made for the reason of playing a game with different controls, now they just release jungle beat on the wii with the wiimote n nunchuk controls for more cash lol

Donkey Konga 3 already exists, only in Japan... Look for videos, there are plenty of them!

I found a copy of DDR Mario Mix a few months ago with the carpet and I bought it immediately, the game is good but you aren't missing the greatest DDR game ever, actually, it's kinda boring that it's only Mario music...
