Description: A continuation from Mad World. So Harry has been told by Dumbledore in the previous video that he is going to stay with Snape until term begins. After packing his things, he falls asleep and has night terrors about the horror his uncle put him through. Snape is worried about him and checks on him to find him in tears. They have a little heart to heart and the next morning, they arrive at Snape's house. Snape tries to help Harry by making him face his past via the pensieve. Harry goes back and remembers a time when his uncle stole his only picture of his parents and burnt it in the fire. Snape realises he has not only had physical abuse, but also emotional. As time goes on, they form a bond and Harry opens up more and more. Even to details such as his uncle stabbing him with a knife. One morning, Harry, alone in the house, goes for a walk not thinking anything of it when Death Eaters find him. Voldemort arrives not long after and Harry is fighting for his life, but does he actually want to fight anymore?

I was thinking, how is it that in the books no one noticed that something strange was going on with the dursleys and harry? Also, I think that the author made a mistake in jotting down Harry as if he didn't have any sort of strange behavior due to the Dursleys. I rather enjoy some fanfictions which portray this well, or in which the Dursley are worse than in canon.

@ME1517 Actually, they tried giving him green colored contacts, but he was allergic to them, and they could have changed his eye color in POA, but they figurede it was too late to do it by then.

@BarrenBlueElf Well, he does. It's just not that noticeable. Like how he's afraid of people's touch. Human contact; Mrs Weasely hugs, Hermione's hug in a n early book, honlding Cho's hand. It takes a long time before he actually chose to initial kissing someone (book 6) and hug (book 7 he hugged Mrs Weasely instead of her hugging him) .And than there are things like the fact that he cries about twice in the whole series. He's been so emotional inverted, it seems like he doesn't have many.

I loved this even more! Just the beginning already gave me excited chills, the empty Hogwarts clips and the flooding bathroom. I never considered the flooding bathroom ever for video's but you show right there how the simplest scenes can create the perfect feeling. I love how you manipulate every scene to fit your story and I'm dying for more here. Is there is third vid?! Oh and if the vids are this good, imagine a fanfiction. I hope you'll write one or if you already have,give me link!

The movies failed to portray Many of key characteristics when it came to harry. They failed to make his hair messy in later movies. they failed to give him the proper 'clothes big enough for a whale'. And they failed to make his eyes green! EVER! and with all the high tech computer graphics they use in that movie!

i mean they can make a believable image of a dragon chasing Daniel through the sky and around Hogwarts grounds, but they can change his eyes color? Ugh.

There is actually alot of abuse withing the actual books if you read them carefully.When i first read them, I overlooked this detail, and ignored home-life in anticipation for his arrival at Hogwarts.Upon rereading, I began to realize how much neglect is featured.

I think it wasnt addressed mainly because JK didnt want the abuse to be the focal point of the story. She used it as Harry's motive to pick up and leave for a completely unknown world eagerly and and without question.
