she said it herself she found the job she wanted but the pay wasn't enough. and that is the root of the problem. capitalism.

this interview is total bullshit. nobody ever get's a job right out of college paying the money they expect it to be. to think otherwise is very naive. however having a college education is always a advantage. who goes to the mall expecting a good job. $9.50 an hour?? who the fuck can live on that in california? if what that lady said was average people would be starving in california . these interviews are totally hand picked. people selling gold, in a bad economy there is nobody to buy it.

I meant high school class of 2008.

It feels like I'm going to college forever. I'm 22 years old. I'm nowhere near graduation. Finding a major was a wild goose chase for me. Years later, I'll be older than majority of undergrads. Some can be born as late as 1997. Everyone else in class of 2008 are graduates.

That's why some people's opposition to unpaid internships is stupid.

Most colleges are bullshit you don't need a piece of paper to prove you will be good at what you want to do. The best education you can get is in the workforce learning from somebody that knows the skill and is willing to teach you. When everybody has the same piece of paper it loses its value. I have seen people with master degrees in business get turned down at McDonalds
