The beginnings of 4x4 Bassline Garage. Back in 2003 I took all of the dark new tunes I could find and shoved them onto one mix cd called darkside vol1. At the time a lot of this stuff was considered too dark and mad for club play. Over the next couple of years 4x4 Bassline infiltrated the bassline scene and by 2005/6 it had pretty much taken it over..at least in sheffield.

thanks for the comments ..I'm a picky person myself when it comes to tunes...I refuse to play anything I dont like...dont care how popular it is ;) I did a volume 2 of this style back in 2004 ..its on the list to be uploaded. Once all the vintage mix cd's are ripped and up on my channel I'll start uploading "new" oldskool mixes.

I used to have a few up various sites but they are all gone now..have a google on applications like "youtube downloader" or similar. They allow you to download from here and then you can convert them to mp3/WMA
