I think HOA is the most stupidity we create for ourselves - the home owners - you pay for the HOA & you get a lot of problems from them. You pay tax for your own house then HOA is the real owner. You have to ASK them before you can do something on your OWN HOUSE

- the HOA lawyer wrote up 17 violations with $200 a day fine in addition to what's allowed under the law. I testified to Senator Wentworth in Feb 2002 in Houston about MY ordeal with Stone Oak POA - Litigation Terrorism seldom sees a jury. Ever.
This tactic of rocketing up fines at $200 a day (used in the past-tense to induce the idea that it's been racking up fines already) is a violation of human rights. It induces terror in to the victim.
I can't stand bad behavior in authority figures.

The very last person to testify (Arshia) went on to express an emotional plea for help during this testimony - she'd rather die than live under the abusive HOA lawyers and snaggle-toothed Board directors with bad breath. Well, that's what I suggested she tell them, I gave her the address and room number in Austin. She came to me asking for help..found my site online. I referred her to Senator Wentworth and this committee the weekend right before this hearing. She lives in my neighborhood...
