  • Really great video. Thanks =D

  • wow. love the doc on him

  • What a wonderful short study on Gregg Toland. Kudos to Mr. Paul Turcott for a masterful job.

  • Masterful editing. . .wonderful imagery. . .excellent music. . .credible narrative voice. However, a little more fact-checking would have been helpful. DEAD END was 1937, not 1935. He died seven years after KANE, not four or five. Actors did not like Toland: they didn't like the distortion or hot lights. Directors like Ford, Hawks, and Wyler loved him. True genius. Eccentric character.

  • Greg Toland. You can’t get better than him.

  • Toland is the greatest. We are lucky that God put Welles and Toland together to tell stories. Thank you very much for this posting. They were both too great for Hollywood!

  • its called RKO 281, i think it was an HBO film.

  • Very great job!

What's the name of the movie with John Malkovich about making "Citizen Kane"?
