What all peoples think of all this song do u think Goan peoples can take over their Goa Back from them? in my Opinion NO. its Not Possible Bcoz if you see the number of population he mentioned is double that means 1:1 and i m sure if it goes this way it will be 1:2 that is Goan will be one and outsider's will be two and see the slum area it looks same like mumbai slum area n may b after few years it vl be worst thn the present if goan pples vl still remain susegath. Wake Up Goan People Wake up
Nice and gr8 song by M. boyer. were is goa now is it amcheam Goaem? it is already sold to outsiders special by GOAN PEOPLE it self for making fast money and by Polliticians for vote bank you goan people are very susegath take rest and let all goa go to outsiders then u peoples will wake up. So many tiartrist and so many singrs r singing and bringing infront of goan people but GOAN PEOPLE ARE SUSEGATH still Ghoretat this all blame goes to the people of GOA and not Politicians.Think all of u Y
@neerajmadhavan great question!. these words, in my understanding of our then spoken-not-written konkanim language, literally means: Foreignors (outsiders) are becoming (wanting to become) Goans. It may suggest that non-goans should not become token Goans or take over Goa. These words were sung by the noted and loved Goan theatrist, M.Boyer, post-liberation. Many senior Goans side with this theory!. I stand to be corrected and would like to hear from other versed Goans on this subject.
@torontochap1 Hi, i came to this konkani song by mistake... it seems to be political from the comments i have read so far, could you please tell me what this song is about?
I am generally not too supportive of the tiatr format for being too in-your-face and crude but this song is a classic which sums up the current situation, no need for the spoken word!!
Please don't call this song controversial because it is anything but that, M. Boyer along with two other singers had sung a simler song, the last line of this song is the same as the trio that was sung for an C. Alvares drama.
