This flight was flown in preparation of the Instrument Rating, which will follow in a few weeks time. This clip shows fragments of a trip from Oxford to Cambridge, where we approached via radar vectored ILS. After which we diverted to Cranfield with simulated engine failure. At Cranfield we flew a non precision approach. Enroute we soared just above the clouds at our flight level assigned by London Control. And just that makes this clip worth while on its own :-)
so is there a 4 year college for flight school or is it an academy to go to after graduation..jw im only a freshem in hs

@Montgomery2013 In Europe you can enter, what is called an integrated flying course. You get a course where you will develop yourself up to the point where you have the knowledge and skills to fly multi engine aircraft in instrument conditions. Most of the time you will also get a course (MCC & JOC) afterward that makes sure you can work in 2-man cockpit and cabin attendant environment. Also you will get an introduction on flying jet aircraft. This whole process takes up to 1,5 / 2 years.Regards

Yeah almost. I am currently waiting for my 170, the last test before the IR test itself. Really exciting times...
