What a guy he was!

WOW what a man. They certainly don't make like that anymore. This country is now a bunch of pathetic fame wannabe, amongst other things.

I've been doing scaffolding all my adult life,(over 30 yrs.) and on my BEST day, I could not have even climbed that ladder. UNREAL man.

God Bless you Fred. You were a legend.
I love his famous words..........on demolishing a chimney. DID yer like that.

4&a half grand for dismantling this chimney?..I,d have wanted at least another zero on the end of that just to climb the bloody ladder..(and a safety harness)
The guy had balls of steel(note how he comes down the ladder "2" rungs at a time)
R.I.P. Fred..you will never be replaced.

Shame that not only has Fred gone, but a sight such as this will probably never been seen again.
4500 Pounds! I can't imagine how much it would cost today. I suppose maybe 20 times as much. One man on home made scaffolding, 500 feet in the air with a hammer, a chisel and a bucket. Unreal. Both physically and psychologically, this is one tough dude.

His brick lowering system is genius. I could watch it all day.
