For me, the last produced derivatives of Virage Chassis (Vantage Le Mans) are the only proper and the last golden AMs.

Most of the people including some race celebrities (I remember Nikki Lauda was there also) where disturbed while looking how many cheapo switches and parts from Mondeo are Vanquish’s permanent interior parts. Gone was the wood and "aluminum look" as the present way the industry tries to look attractive while really trying to cut expenses (cheap plastic) - took the main role as interior attraction

You know, the same day I first had chance to see promotion of Vanquish back in Frankfurt/Main IAA (2001) and gazed into the newfound economy of its interior - gone was my fate in Aston!
