It's amazing to see the intros and bumpers that I remember from watching TV growing up used on other stations throughout the US! Of course, I remember this intro from when I would be able to see KYW-TV 3 Philadelphia (that station didn't come in as well as WCAU-TV 10 or WPVI-TV 6). I love the nice mellow music in this intro!

OOH WHEEEEE!! Man, do i remember this!!!! This takes me back to the good ol days when it was raining outside and mom wouldn't let us have the tv until she was done watching the movie!!! LOL Good post!! Thanks!!

I think those movie graphics were syndicated because KYW and WFTV used similar if not identical graphics to what WEWS was using.

I remember this too. I was 4 or 5 years old back then, but I still remember my older brothers staying up late on Friday or Saturday nights watching the Universal Debut Network and other movies that aired on WEWS 5 back in the day. I used to stay up and watch them too!
