This is the famous Rachmaninoff's Prelude played as encore at the end of Bacchetti's concert in Auditorio Principe Felipe de Oviedo, on October 7th, 1999.

Bacchetti is one of today's most prominent italian pianists, widely recognised in particular as a Bach performer, as well as Cherubini, Galuppi, Mozart, Mendelssohn and, approved by the composer himself who much praised the pianist's rendition of his own music, Luciano Berio.

This Rachmaninoff is played in a very suggestive way, the tension is high and the inner voices played with beautiful singing tone.
