Mantis Shrimp Striking Glass (First Person View)

I was antagonizing him with the feeding prong (you can see it in the video). When I watch this video on youtube with my volume all the way up, it's just like it sounded in person. It was that loud. And still no broken glass...but imaging the mantis twice the size and the glass half the thickness and I think it would break.

We used to catch these at the beach when I was growing up in the south pacific and we've definitely had them draw blood. My uncle tried catching one with his bare hands and it split his thumbnail. I don't remember how big it was and since it was out in the wild maybe they're a bit more aggressive. Awesome animal you have here!
