  • Sounds like you have wheel slip with the 412 watch the exahust prior to the crossing logic says 716 should trail and 412 should lead for maximum traction effort`.

  • It's hunting... RPM's swinging up and down. I was told once that it's indicative of a governor problem... used to see it a lot on the Conrail SD40-2 helpers up here. Sounds mean when it revs-up though, doesn't it?
