Amnesiac is the fifth studio album by the English alternative rock band Radiohead. It was released on 4 June 2001 in the United Kingdom, debuting at #1 on the UK charts and #2 on the Billboard Top 200. Amnesiac featured more audible guitar than its direct predecessor Kid A, and unlike that album, it spun off several singles. Like Kid A, it synthesised influences of electronic music, ambient music, classical music, and jazz.

  • @thepeopleinthetrees Be careful - thoughts like that lead to an inflated ego - regardless of whether they're true.

  • @kyokookanami nope. it's 11 years old - by definition, it can't be avant garde ;)

  • Anyone else seen a spinning optical appear out of thin air?

  • Don't listen to this stoned... You might just shit your pants because of how far out of reality you feel.

  • @llorencaguiar smoke a bowl, shit.

  • is this the most avant-garde song?

  • @AncientAeon - I'm gonna go make one now...

  • @Alejandrocatheycv Because this generation of kids (not all of them, because I don't follow that shitty ass compilation of noise) aren't listening to the music that we cherish and they instead listen to the shit media, and radio, and pop culture trains us to listen to. I'm sure this music has just as many fans, but those fans are in the age seperate from youtube, and they listen to it on CDs and Phonos

  • @llorencaguiar well, maybe its just not your type of music :) In my opinion, one of their best albums..deep, complex, melancholic and yet beautiful.

  • 4 people are floating down the muddy river
