  • I know some Led Zep and Robert Plant fans can't stand Coverdale, but damn, he rips it vocally on this song, not sure what some of you are talking about.

Give credit where it is due.

  • it doesnt matter who page plays with,he's the greatest, most versatile guitarist ever! hendrix, beck, vai, van halen, satriani, malmsteen etc can never come close to jimmy page !

  • Clean for years, he stopped using smack in the EARLY 80's as soon as bonzo died.

  • i used to rip on Coverdale til I saw Whitesnake . they blew half the bands i have seen out of the water .

  • @LORDGOAT1976 whats the dif

  • Coverdale may have a good voice, but he just screams most of the time. No feeling, no depth. JMO

  • Is Page still on Dope here? or was he clean at this point?

  • I think they made a fine pair too! JP was tearing his Danelectro up!! I am sure he had some flashbacks performing with Dave,,,that's a lotta blonde mane whippin' around! Pretty good show.

  • @diagreen coz hes guitar speaks instead of him :"D

  • the reason that Coverdale sticks to rock is because he'd look like an idiot trying to do what Plant does now... I like Coverdale as a vocalist but he absolutely BUTCHERED this song.

  • @MrAttPatt Plant is bluegrass/alternative country now. Coverdale Page album and tour were all about hard rock and Whitesnake is a kick ass band even now. Respect for staying a rock n' roller David.
