  • Une tres belle performance de Baker,Grallier et Rassinfosse.

  • I'm listening to all of Chet on YouTube to restore my memory. I saw him perform when I was a young man. Like Art Pepper, whom he knew well, you can see the damage of drugs reflected in his face. Drugs certainly don't help the talent despite what musicians thought or might think. Chet and the rest of the junkie jazzers would have played just as well -- and probably better -- without. Said the Grim Reaper, beware my kiddies what thou ingests.

But listen to Chet sober, again and again.

  • unusual for him to play the blues i believe ( he doesnt play any impro here) - nice piano solo ---

  • Chet Baker once said: 'the best drummer is no drummer at all.'

  • @THAIBOPPER Oscar Peterson's trio with Ray Brown and Herb Ellis definitely stands out.

  • I'm amazed of how good a Jazz combo sounds without drums...

  • Great playing!
