@physicmad nah. it's just rotating at almost exactly a multiple of the frame rate of the camera. I'm guessing the framerate is either 30 or 60 fps, meaning that in every frame the platters are (nearly) in the same position as the last frame, having made several full rotations in between. This gives the appearance that it's rotating slowly when it's really going pretty dang fast.

Alright, call me stupid but is that literally a DISK? Yeah, It's a hard disk drive (hdd) but technically, it's like a dvd or a cd type of disc? Just different format and shit.. But essentially I'm trying to say, it's like a disc like that?
