  • Spending doesn't make good art. Sounds like she has no clue what Spiderman is. Backers deserve to lose every penny on that wreck of a show.

  • The Ego has landed.

  • Julie Taymor did not make the Lion King successful. It was successful on it's own, award winning music, great story, art from Disney. She did nothing.

Now she thinks she can write, develop characters and put her own "spin " on the spiderman franchise. Now we know what she's really made off.

  • people are trash talking on U2 like they are spending the money ,

get real man , taymor is just out of control and acting like a jerk.

Taymor want everything her way , which is egoistic as fuck.

Sad to see U2 dragged trough the dirt because of being involved in a shitty musical, while they could be recording a new album.

Go back to your real job Bono and Edge

  • Big time ego, she and Bono and edge are out of touch. Across the universe was awful, way too precious - a sugar overload

  • she was good at th lion king

  • @dudess4rent - "no clue on spiderman..."

She is the biggest example of an oversize ego. They look in the mirror and say "i can do anything", self-esteem inflation exercises.

  • Stunts doesn't make something good, it helps a lot if there's a good story, good music and good actors. If you have those three people won't actually care if Spiderman doesn't actually swing about on stage.

You can get away with a lot in a stage show, you don't have to show absolutely everything. Not only that but being theatre you can't call cut, can't get a stunt double and you certainly can't put a giant safety mattress on stage, the actors will get hurt again if they leave the stunts in
