Jazzlinks Quartet (JQ) performs All of Me from Michael Buble's 2009 CD Crazy Love. Frank Noonan performs vocal and horns with Dennis Nobrega on clarinet, Jeff Dunn on keyboard and Phil Vitali on percussion - recorded May 16, 2010. -- This song was also from the 1984 film of the same title with Steve Martin and Lily Tomlin.
Frank Noonan is a former soloist for the Commandant's Own U S Marine Drum and Bugle Corps and 215th Army Band.
The song, All of Me, was a major hit by Louis Armstrong in 1932, and was successfully revived by Johnnie Ray in 1952 with notable versions by Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, The Rat Pack, Django Reinhardt and Willie Nelson. In an episode of the 1970s television show Sanford and Son, Redd Foxx (joined by Scatman Crothers on guitar) sings a short but memorable version. In more recent years it has been recorded by Pia Zadora and Anne Murray. Also, a Punk rock rendition of the song was recorded by NOFX.
