Just checked my CD where this version was: It's called "Tenderly," Ella and Louis Armstrong. Kay Star has a more little nasal tone...this is my Ella!

It's definitely Queen Ella! In one of her earlier albums. Absolutely not Kay Star. Just listen to those lower notes, and the diction...it's just unmistakable! My grandfather had this album, I grew up with her...
