I was so happy when this wave of adoration for Cohen arose... he had been so important a generation before, but a lot of people had lost sight of him by the 80s. Then only-semi-ironic hipster appreciation brought him back, and shortly after that the "I'm your fan" compilation - and especially the John Cale cover of "Hallelujah" that was on it (Buckley later covered Cale's version, not Cohen's) - blew the doors off the hinges and everyone welcomed Cohen back into their lives. To our benefit.

The backgroundsinger to rhe right very much looks like Sharon Robinson, with who Leonard recorded "ten new songs". She still sang with him during the legendary 2008 series of concerts.

I can see why you might think that, but it is in fact Perla Batalla, not Sharon Robinson.
