Three great handbags for moms on the go. I looked at my collection and picked my top three handbag choices that I thought were great for moms on the go - all three happen to be Louis Vuitton.

The top three bags that I thought were great for mommies on the go or Stay at home moms are: Louis Vuitton Tivoli GM, Palermo PM, and Totally MM.

The pros of these choices are the zipper closure that they all have, the moderate size that still holds a good amount of items, and that they all fit comfortably on the shoulder.

  • @idig

Haha!! I love that rug! I worked my whole living room around it! ;)P

  • Great review, you made a good choice on LV.Pls do a review on your Hamstead MM.or a comparison with Palermo PM.I cant decide which one to get.And you?which one you like better?Thank you in advance.Have a good day.

Thanks for watching! Well, I'd have to say that the Palermo PM is my favorite, because I don't have the Hampstead any longer! ;) I sold it because I couldn't handle the no zipper issue, plus its a bit heavy. Very gorgeous bag though. The Palermo PM is definitely my choice between those two... I've been considering the Westminster as a possible alternative for a shoulder Damier Ebene bag since it has a zipper. I need to do an updated collection video for 2012 at some point. :)

  • Very helpful! I love LV, but I recently thought of getting a Balenciaga for the first time. I am also a mom with a toddler and a newborn. My husband is alowing me to get a couple more bags to last me for a few years. You mentioned that the balenciaga didn't work for you, and I was wondering what problems you had with it. This might help me make my mind on what bag to get. Also, I thought you might be able to tell me if balenciaga's hold up well over the years. Thanks for the help!!

The Balenciaga bags that I was refering to in the video were the Work style, which doesn't fit comfortably on the shoulder (the Work has shorter handles that are meant to be primarily hand held) so they really weren't practical for every day use with two babies. I've owned a number of Balenciaga bags throughout the years, and with regular use - they do hold up fairly well. I would suggest the City or Day styles for classic styles that would also be practical. Hope this helps! :)

  • I am a mommy of a two and four year old and I own the Totally mm in monogram, which I love but hate when it rains and see the water spots on my leather. I am interested in the damier ebene collection. What bag do you suggest? Westminster GM or Cabas Rivington? Not sure what you've seen that might work. Neverfull?

  • @Bags4Bubbles Thanks so much!

Congrats on your new LO! I'm sure the Neverfull will work great for you, it is still a super versatile bag. It will work especially when the baby is smaller - you aren't having to bend over as much as when they are toddlers. I do a lot of my bending trying to catch up with her to pick her up, and picking up things that she's thrown! ;) Enjoy your new bag & new baby!

  • Great video as always!!
