Thomas Newan and Aaron Copland were the influences here. Done with Mixcraft and East West Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestral Gold

  • Hey, could you please tell me how you set up EWQLSO in Mixcraft? I'm having some trouble figuring it out. Thanks a ton, and I really liked your composition!

  • @austyfrosty2011

Highlight the EWQLSO and then you will see a little "Edit" button next to "New Multi" under the preset column. That's how you change the instrument. Let me know if you have any other questions and have fun composing!

Hello. Sorry for the late reply... To get EWQL to work you have to point to the VST's.... in Mixcraft, go to File>Preferences>Effects>Edit VST Effects Folders .... Then you just click on the EWQL VST- mine is C:\Program Files (x86)\East West\EWQLSO Gold Edition\VST... yours should be something similar.

Then to use them in mixcraft: Insert Virtual Instrument track>Right Click and "Change Instrument">Highlight VSTi Instruments> and then in that list you should see EWQLSO.

  • Awesome composition, and awesome video to compliment it...excellent work!

  • @TheFullReverse How do you get the VST? No VST files show up, and all the EastWest folder has in it is an authorization wizard. Do I need to plug in the iLok or something?
