A classic episode of One Life to Live where Viki is on trial for murder. Karen Wolek takes the stand and makes a shocking confession. Karen Wolek is played by two time emmy winner Judith Light. It's taken from the Daytime to Remember series that aired during the 90s after Loving was cancelled and before Port Charles hit the air. Reba McEntire hosts the special and highlights some of the classic moments over a two week period.

Agreed: Reba is an obnoxious, abrasive hick (and her show was one of the stupidest ever on TV), but, Jesus! Judith LIght was amazing as Karen. (I have to say, Vicki needed a better lawyer than Paul Martin!) So glad Judith has had a long career and continues to work.
It would be extremely difficult for any actress to pull off this scene without it coming across like overacting. Judith Light managed to transcend acting and make it look like she herself was confessing to being a prostitute rather than her character. It's so raw and real.
I like the pause before she confesses where you can read in her face, "This is a life destroying sentence and I won't be able to take it back."
this was 1978 so it must have been around this time. it makes sense because it was the 10th anniversary for the show so they wanted to remember one of their first storylines: Victoria/Niki.
