  • I hardly use my cell phone. I can't stand the thing.

  • @brianbrave first time ive ever heard of a texted job interview offer. NICE JOB. i need an iphone.

  • @youngb1ood - Yes! - They even texted me their offer - Just love my iPhone!!

  • whether you have voicemail or not.... or caller id or not..... just turn the damn phone off........ better to get hired one place and be safe with that job. another job possibility may occur through that phone call - but they can always call back..... they usually call me back. if its a family member emergency..... usually the chances of that are low. plus the interview takes a maximum 30-40 minutes. then if you get hired on the spot- its only paper work.

  • @brianbrave did you get hired though?

  • You can do one thing..! you can switch your cell on silent mode. and leave it at the reception table. . (Believe me if the receptionist is good looking you can also ask her out for lunch or coffee. ) It works.. :)

    Go try it out..

  • I was going for an interview. As I dot own a car I was going by BUS. As per your suggestion I switched my cell off and left it in the BUS..! I want my cell phone Back ... !!!!@@@

  • I have an interview tomorrow and I just turned my phone off, so I wouldn't forget. Somebody's calling me? Oh well. lol

  • Did you get the job?

  • I once pulled out my phone and started text-messaging during the interview.

The interviewer got upset and finally asked what I was doing.

I told her I was showing off my multi-tasking skills.
