I think the historical record is pretty clear that Mitt's father DID march with Martin Luther King. King even endorsed Mitt's father for President. Was Romney a life long hunter? He's hunted more than me. I think it is great that Romney, as a Mormon, is held to a higher standard. Still, the campaign environment is a fast paced place, and I don't expect perfect wordsmithing on the fly.
These statements should say good things about Mitt. He values gun rights. His family love civil rights.
