(IF I HAD MY WAY)
IF I HAD MY WAY DEAR, FOREVER THERE'D BE.
A GARDEN OF ROSES, FOR YOU AND FOR ME.
A THOUSAND AND ONE THINGS DEAR, I WOULD DO.
JUST FOR YOU, ONLY YOU.
IF I HAD MAY WAY, WE WOULD NEVER GROW OLD,
AND SUNSHINE I'D BRING EVERY DAY.
YOU WOULD REIGN ALL ALONE,
LIKE A QUEEN ON A THRONE.
IF I HAD MY WAY.

Is it possible to share the bass notes of the last line as it sounds a little bit country....thanks Just got to learn this song after listening a few times. Took a while to like it.

Thanks a million for playing so nicely and giving me the opportunity of hearing this wonderful old melody . Though my face is drowning in tears with emotion, I am grateful to be able to hear it. I am too choked to sing along. The memories of of Mother singing this is just too overwhelming right now. I'll get round to enjoying hearing it again before too long. It is said there are so many memories tied up in musical memory. Wow! I can verify that! Many many thanks .
