  • Francisco de México, fabulosa y que eleva el espíritu. Esat combinación de Ry y de Vishwa es perfecta. Guitarra y sitara, dos culturas que se unen y forman un solo lenguaje. Guau, me encantó.

    Felicidades

  • @betanfco gratias!

  • I just saw him in Mumbai and live you can hear a lot more of the atmospherics of that instrument. Ry Cooder wasn't there and I must say, listening to this track, this combination really works! He explained how he invented the Mohan Veena when a German hippy chick asked him to teach her sitar on her guitar. He modified her guitar and got the metal bit off his scooter to use as the slider.

  • @Sandyhendry

Great comment! I would like to see him live too. Maybe I'll have a chance sometime

  • I remember listening to this when I was working at a high end boutique. I would be totally immerse in the music and it will just take you away. Playing this on vinyl on a Goldmund reference turntable, thiel cs-5i speaker, Mark Levinson No -25 phono stage, No 360s preamp and VTL 400 mono block was incredible. Thank you soo much DRANT JE for posting this.

  • I just saw Vishwa Mohan Bhatt live this evening, finally, and even got the opportunity to shake his hand. It was unbelievable good music.

    :)

  • Love this CD. Owned it since 1995

  • This whole CD is amazing. I love the 4th cut, too, Isa Lei. The two of them are just incredible together. It is spiritual, I listen when I do yoga and when I meditate sometimes. I can't get enough of it.

  • @dollyrocker98 totally agree ! its truly amazing how much he has contributed to so many genres of music and how much he has done for the world music scene!

  • Divine!

  • I love this.

  • A.W.E.S.O.M.E.

  • IMHO Ry Cooder has never received the attention he truly deserves.
