Sebastian and I talk about what went into creating the Marvel Versus Fighting Pad by Performance Designed Products (PDP).

Some notes...
* To clarify, OHT did in fact make/design the thing. He is in fact a tournament fighter.
* It is wired and only available for Xbox 360 at this time.
* It is asymmetric for a reason... (watch the video)
* The art is from Marvel's "Siege"
* Available for Pre-order at PDP.com
* No, it does not have a D-Pad... because it has a joystick with a Micro-Switch Activators.
- Press release and photos can be found on Gamespress.com
- Available 2/16/2011 (based on GameStop)
- As of now it is only available in the US.
- It is sold out on PDP.com but can still be purchased at Gamestop.

To order please visit www.PDP.com and follow us on twitter @PDPgaming & @PDP_Candace

  • it would be nice if they told you that the micro switches will break if you use it frequently and the letters on the buttons will wear off in a matter of weeks I love this thing i paid 39.99 for it and went back to game stop with in a month and it was 19.99 so i don't know if I'd recommend it preformed well until it broke but it broke none the less. I love a replacement I even have the original box it came in but i don't think pdp has the resources to replace every broken controller.

  • @Slayereyez We do replace controllers, they all have a warranty when purchased. Please contact support on PDP(dot)com

  • I love this thing and have been using it since it's been released but I think a lot of people, including myself are wondering if there are any plans for future revisions to the controller?

  • @Salesman As of right now, we do not have any plans to revise this controller. Glad you like it!

  • I bought this thing for shmups like Touhou Project and other games like Super Meat Boy on the go. For some background, I'm a competitive Street Fighter player, I've been playing since ST and I've always been very partial to Japanese style (now, specifically Siemitsu) parts. I've always scoffed at pads. I've actually pulled off kara demons in 3s with this thing. Good job on bringing pad fun to stick players PDP. I'll never switch to it for fighters but it's great on the go and very capable!

  • @Ebortion Glad you like it :)

  • @PDPCandace Well, not what I wanted to hear but so nice of you to respond. :)

I just wanted to let you guys know that there are a lot of fans of this pad and we wouldn't mind seeing it get a facelift or something. This thing is really good not only for fighters but shoot em ups aswell and thats mainly cause of the buttons and stick.

oh well, cheers and have a happy new year!

  • Ok looking at the comment below. Iv seen that a lot, I guess I wont be getting this. I wish Hori would make something like this for their pads.

  • DO NOT BUY THIS!

I bought this via amazon for $40, thought I had a good deal, but NOOOOO. The fucking stick broke after 2 weeks. Now I just have a $40 paperweight.

    WOULD NOT BUY AGAIN.
