Do you have battery backup for this system or do you get to feedback into the grid and get a check from FPL for the extra?

Rev. Bill McNeeley, He is a doll and a half. He gives so much love to all people who visit his home and Crystal Center of Illumination. And although this video is only 1:40 min., it holds the answer to many of our conundrums in FL for our cooling costs! Yes it is the SUNSHINE STATE!! So Why does ONLY One Man have solar Panels in all of Ft. Pierce (one big township in FL?) Well, the usual ~~ No one else took the forsight or trouble to install them, But YOu can !!

It is a grid tie system. Ft. Pierce Utilities pays me a wholesale rate for the daytime power generated & charges me retail {3 times as much} for my night usage. FPL pays an equal amount which is true net metering. Ft. Pierce falsely advertises net metering & I have been attending their board meetings trying to get them to change their policy.
