for $3 u can buy 5 pounds of dry rice. When cooked up that is 5 days supply of calories
Yes yes it does not have all the vitamins
This is supplemental not total nutrition
The Gov. is not supposed to provide TOTAL nutrition. it is up to u to get a fricking job & buy your own one a day vitamins.

bullshit, the average foodstamper is overweight and has at least $200 bucks on their cards

I bought a house by working at the car wash. I know how to manage money. Everyone wants things handed to them. Get a job.

@SirJibrail Yea we are living on $1.80 per day just to support your second or third generation lazy ass.

The food stamp challenge is surviving on foodstamps with three dollars of days worth of food. Ahahahahaha is should be the other way around. That it is how my tax paying family is living on. We spend on average $45-50 per week on food. Now I'm gonna take the 50 instead of the 45. Now divide the $50 by seven that brings it down to $9 dollars per day. Now divide that by 4 because that is the number of my household that brings is down to $1.80 cents.

Yeah quit bitching, theres no such thing as po in america. You can buy a banana from a grocerie store for 30 cents. If you're "po", then go and have something from the dollar menu eg. 39 cent Taco from Tacobell...

@0Xexanoth0 And you're still an idiot with an obviously limited vocabulary. Unless you have something insightful to add, would you mind not bothering me with another one of your peabrained replies?
Just glancing through the comments, I find it hilarious that people are arguing back and forth about issues they've likely never had to experience in their life. I love how kids growing up in the suburbs jump online and start discussing poverty and social issues like they're an expert on the subject. I've had more than my share of arguing with immature people about what it means to be poor, so I'm not even gonna go there this time. I just wanted to point this out (and chuckle a bit).

@sklldindivz I have worked retail and other places that take food stamps, for every one person that uses it the right way, there are 10 that drag there kids into convenience stores at 3 am, buy themselves junk food, beg people to let them buy there shit in exchange for cash so they can buy there cigarettes. Then theres most of them who use there foodstamps to buy food(mostly junk) then use cash to buy there dutch masters or other blunts which are used to roll weed with.. good use of tax money
