What makes you think it's a PP. Is it the fact that it doesn't sound like a PP at all?! LOL

Balls of steel.

A powerglide is for a car that has a lot of torque down low in the RPM band. I'm betting this is a PP 20b,which has a very narrow power band (maybe 2-3,000 rpms) is where he needs to keep it. That's why he MUST use a 5-6 speed gearbox. That also, is most likely a G-Force, clutchless shift gearbox.
-
maybe your right. I would think most of those 2 speed cars are v8's. ANd i would also assume it would not work as good with a rotary.
-
wrong.. what makes you think two gears isnt enough? theres tons and tons of 2 speed drag cars
-
puerto ricans like short gears with their 13b drag cars. A 20b prolly has a wider powerband and could use less gears i agree but 2 gears is not enough
