I love The Who but I think Daltrey is mumblin' old prick

5:00 what an arrogant prick! that is something a 10 year old child would say, trying to validate your fighting and your inability to control it.

Keith Moon was the only drummer in the history of rock who could get away with not playing a hi-hat live !..occasionally in studio, but never live..his hi-hat cymbals were always at the left, which, if you're a drummer ,you would know that if you're right handed as he was, it have to be on the left, and if you're a left handed drummer it's on the right...only Moon the Loon would dream up such a playing concept !!.fucking genius !

The Who's music was always suspensful.

Tommy was their pinnacle. Who's Next was the first step down the other side of the mountain.

Moon was so fucking awesome. Listen to those fills he is doing and try to find another drummer who plays like that durring the verses. Roger is just pointing out what made Moon so incredible.
-
Oh yeah, you are ''totally" correct when you say that. How moronic.

What I draw from the Who is in ways for me inarticulate. I heard them almost for the first time in the early eighties when I was in my late teens. New in Canada from Britain and not wanting to be, they gave me the idea that I could think clearly and yet feel messed up. The contradiction of brains and balls; that's the Who really. The contradiction of being human. I was laways a bit cynical about the sixties flower power thing, listening to them made sense.

For me, I first was exposed to them with the farewell concert in Toronto. That show wiped my mind out and did something to me which is still unfolding. I never got over it. It IS hard to express what that is.
