Talkshow host, Hugh Hewitt, tries to have a calm, logical conversation with two unhinged leftists, one from Dallas and the other from Los Angeles. But neither wants to actually debate, preferring character assassination instead. :-(

One wonders if this is a common side-effect of all Fundamentalists?!?

  • @broyomama Taxes would pay for it. It could easily be accomplished. It would be cheaper then what we have now anyway. We spend the most on healthcare yet are ranked in the 30's for access and cost of care. The system we have is disgusting. UHC isn't perfect but it is a far better system.

  • @CaptainRidley First, I agree that healthcare is messed up - as it is everywhere (no exceptions). Also, I firmly believe in helping people that - through absolutely no fault of their own, and I do mean NO FAULT of their own - are in need of vital services (food, shelter, medical, etc.). Last, healthcare cannot be free (obviously). Someone has to pay for it. I should not pay for someone who can (or could have) paid on their own.

  • @broyomama Ever heard of Food stamps? That help millions of people. Should we stop that and let people in this country starve? We live in the richest country in the world and in our modern world we should have healthcare to all citizens for free. We are the only modern country in the world who doesn't have some form of UHC. The system we have now sucks and insurence companies look for every possible loop hole not to help people since they only worry about profits. It needs to change.

  • @CaptainRidley Food is life too, but the government does not owe me food, nor does it owe me healthcare. Keep in mind that billions of people lived in past ages with no healthcare - imagine that! Healthcare is wonderful, but it is a privilege, not a right.

  • @broyomama Healthcare is life you jackass. Good luck surviving if you have cancer but no HI.

  • @CaptainRidley A right to healthcare, and a right to life, are 2 different topics. By the way, the argument of "if he doesn't get surgery, he will die" is erroneous reasoning.

  • @broyomama Really the right to live is a privilege? That seems pretty heartless.

  • Healthcare is a right and the US should have UHC.

  • @derekHSmith No one with a job is this stupid... quit pretending you have a life and a reason for it.

  • @MEpianist is a LEECH!

    Democrats are LEECHES!

LEECHES off of Hard Working Americans!

GET A JOB! SUPPORT YOURSELF - WORKING PEOPLE ARE TRIED OF PAYING YOUR WAY!

    YOU ARE BNKRPTING THE U.S.
