Richard Cuzens Climbs to Victory at New Forest Show 2009

Richard Cuzens, Chief Executive of the New Forest & Hampshire County Show, climbed to victory today when he challenged his fear of heights head on.

He accepted an invitation to ascend a pole, around fifty feet high, maintained by the New Forest Outdoor Centre who looked after him literally every step of the way.

Richard was then interviewed from a neighbouring pole, metres above the ground, by a reporter from the local BBC radio station.

Meanwhile ... Cat Lake, Managing Editor for New Forest Community Media, captured the entire adventure on film from the safety of the Showground floor.
