I love country pubs. They are proper pubs with character and interesting people, and a wood fire in winter. Country pubs are about having a beer, striking up a decent conversation with a stranger, and possibly going home with a meat tray. If a fight breaks out, those involved are kicked out to sort it out, and they usually return together bruised, but mates for life.
The closer you get to a city, the more generic and impersonal the pub.

ive been to a few of these pubs
I played this song on a juke-box at a pub in WeeWaa NSW because the publican wouldn't serve me.He wasn't amused.He furtherly wasn't amused when I played "Everyone must get stoned" by Bob Dylan.Especialy when a couple of locals gave me a beer and he saw it.Threw me out by the scruff of me neck.Shine on Slim R.I.P
