Pate Cemetery, AKA Old Hogg Cemetery, off Guinn Road about 8 miles west of El Dorado, AR. About 2 miles past Wyatt Baptist Church on Hwy. 82 West (Magnolia Highway).
I have seen many different dates the cemetery started, the earliest is 1842. While not impossible, I think very unlikely. As far as I know the first burial was, and is the first marked burial, Newton Aaron Hogg in 1882.
Many unmarked graves are here. There are alot of tragic deaths in this cemetery.
