Perfect example of Bossy's philosophy on scoring goals (and btw, he's the greatest pure goal scorer in NHL history .. averaging 57+ a year)..
Bossy said shoot it where the goalie IS.. and look at this video and where he shoots it.. Shoot it where he IS, cuz he's gonna move...
Bossy the KING OF THE 1-TIMER.

@ECWnWWF the rangers were nobody back then. aside from being perhaps the most boring team in the NHL. the Islanders were reigning champs, one of the most glorious teams ever assembled at that point. the mighty Islanders of this era often had more fans on any given night in ANY arena in the NHL than the home team; their popularity was that big.
sure, things have changed. but you must be too young to remember any of this. check your history before making ridiculous comments about Islander fans.

This video is very confusing ... this is in Nassau Coliseum right? Like back then, the home team wore their white jerseys? Seeing that the Rangers are playing at the Coliseum explains why the Coliseum is jammed packed...but, then the Rangers get scored on and it almost sounds like the Ranger fans are cheering loudly. It almost makes one think the Islanders have fans.
