The karaoke detour was probably the easiest task in all of Amazing Race history.

Teams just have to sing in a party car and it will lead them to the next clue. Wow, simply easy.

To make the karaoke detour harder, they should've had some kind of correct lyric powered car and it will only travel when teams sing the right lyrics and teams have to make 1/3 kilometer to get their clue. :P

@survivor298 Yeah, but season 1's detour tasks were either between fast & long or similar choices so season 1 was poorly constructed.

@hoteliwinshowcases no, a detour in season 1 was a choice between traveling by rental car or bus, with no singing. also, every team traveled the same streets. it was pathetic. but for some reason, one team decided to not do the detour and travel by taxi-_-
