You don't get it do you? The fanbase is messed up. Ever no one will ever be pleased. My point of this video is to say, play the game yourself, don't listen to reviews, and as for other fans, well if they are dumb enough to hate a game because it's not 'classic' enough, then thier lose.

Sonic is forever changing and evolving. Although Sonic Team isn't the same as it was when Yuji Naka was top dog their spirit lives on in the name.

Sonic will forever be the best icon of video gaming.

Mario NEVER CHANGES. Every single time it's always the same Goombas, the same stale jumping from platform to platform with one loose gimmick to hold it all together.

I love Sonic, always will and I'll defend him as long as I have to.

Even though people have the right to have their opinion, I thank you for this video. Everything you said is true, most people of the fanbase barely have any common sense and always whine about their childhood. I loved the 2d games, but I love the 3d ones too. I enjoyed all the titles to date because I know they are not perfect(no game is), and so I'm still around with Sonic.

@DarkSoftStudios The sad thing is that people treat Mario and Sonic differently because of this.

With Mario, your mind immediately flicks to Super Mario Bros and you think "Yeah that was fun for the time it was released. Maybe they will do something good here" and you are not disappointed. But with Sonic, your mind flicks to the huge trend of the 90s when it came to Sonic, Blast Processing and so on. You play it, only to see that it is decent in cognito, you are disappointed.
