  • Nice try Alan. It doesn't take much intellectual rigour to see the connection between thousands of thugs baying for blood in Cronulla, and your daily incitement leading up to the event.

Why didn't you quietly report the matter to the police? Unless of course the anti-muslim riots were, in your august opinion, indeed a good thing and worthy of promotion? Of course not, you would never stoop to sensationalism and manufactured outrage to boost your ratings.

  • I watch Media Watch. A lot of people watch Media Watch. 750,000 is typical audience.

Jones's audience (most popular morning show in us) is 900,000.

  • Hi!

Did you know that Jones is a Penis Connoisseur who had a " Session " with a boy in a London Toilet !

So Remember that if you listen to this sack of Excrement it means you approve !!

  • @Groyden

Plenty more questions could have been asked, but for what purpose? To screw Jones over by breaking him via some internet video? If you're looking for an O'Brien type drilling then yes, this guy fails in that regard. But if you're looking to understand his personality, his underlying motive, then it is appropriate.

  • @chuiechuie REALLY?

Jones gets to put his bigoted point of view EVERYDAY without considering the other side. Who are his critics? MediaWatch-they play his clips. ACMA-they held a proper hearing meaning both sides were heard from. There were some decent questions, but there were 100 follow ups which needed to be asked which weren't.

Please don't ever, EVER, think this man is a victim in any sense of any media conspiracy

  • @Groyden I actually thought it was a good interview. It was soft, yes, but the questions were good- and while I'm not too familiar with Jones and his involvement with the Cronulla Riots, this interview at least provided him with the opportunity to give his side of of the story. Which, as Jones rightly points out, his critics never really did.

  • Wipe your chin & get off your knees Timbo. Seriously crap interview - he led you by the nose all the way.

  • Is he the racing driver ?

  • What a soft as shit interview.

What agreements were reached with him to agree to this interview? Did you have to promise not to challenge or refute anything he said?

I was almost screaming at the screen when he spoke about the Cronulla Riots stuff. You could have put to him how he said 'wouldn't it be good to get some Pacific Islanders down there' and the infamous 'send them back to their lairs' comment.

    Very, very unimpressed.
