  • I got the 'Barnstormer' set Christmas 1972('73?). It was a great toy! My Dad loved it so much that he spent most of that Christmas morning playing with it.

His boss at his ad agency was an amateur pilot who got hooked on it as well.

I remember hanging out at my Dad's office during that Christmas break playing with it with my Dad and his boss. Great memories. Thanks so much for posting this!

  • @Nacho66 That is a cool story! I remember all my uncles coming over and playing with our Eldon Bowl a Matic and Selectronic race set at Christmas in 1963...it was so cool sharing that with them.

  • Where do we get one of these?

  • @fholbert Contact Joe directly at jbeckerwrites@tampabay.rr.com

His newest carriers are like the one in my video, but are now two piece. This allows the shipping to be easier AND storage at your home easier. Everything else on the ship should be the same. Joe will give you all the most up to date details as well.

The carrier works much better than the original sets as it has a really substantial base, the airplane is lighter, and a number of other reasons. Have fun!

  • @ToyKingWonder Hello, does Joe still do these and does he ship them to the UK? Thanks.

  • @badboi78 Let me find out and I will get back with you.

  • @badboi787 I just exchanged emails with Joe. He is still doing them. Contact him at his email address above. I can't speak for him, but I don't see the problem with shipping to the UK, especially with what I understand are the 2 piece models now, easier to ship. Let me know how your purchase goes!

  • @ToyKingWonder Thanks! I will go contact him now.

  • Thanks for making and uploading this excellent video. It's great to finally see the man who created one of my favorite toys. I had the catapult & joystick model; great Christmas memories.

  • 300hp 350. Base engine actually. Factory air and auto.
