Brother Ah (Robert Northern) is a renowned composer, instrumentalist and director of the World Music Ensemble, a collective with musical roots from all over the world. He has performed and recorded with great jazz legends, including Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Dizzy Gillespie, Thelonius Monk, Max Roach and many others.
Brother Ah is bringing together talented musicians from Hawaii or with Hawaiian musical roots, to perform as the Aloha World Music Ensemble, playing a fusion of native Hawaiian music and progressive jazz. Featuring Makua Rai on piano, Randy Wong on bass, Raymund Golamco on guitar, Kris Kato on 'ukulele, Milton Russ on percussion, Arron Walker on drums and Kaina Quenga their hula dancer.
