Henry, Cam, Greg and myself on a trip down the upper part of the Water of Leith in Dunedin during flood on the 29th May 2010. A non-stop continuous 8min run with a few nasty wee surprises.

  • @tribalmask Hey mate boating is pretty good, when it floods there are runs right around dunedin including an awesome class 4-4+ creek run called lee stream, and only a couple of hours drive is central otago bigwater and class 5 creeking (nevis,manuherikia) also the waikaia river just down south a freaking awesome class 4-5 run. plus good surf if your partial to a bit of that lol

  • Sick!! I studied at Otago and paddled with the OUCC. Always wanted to run the Leith. Never much liked the look of those munchy holes. Well done!

  • @emma3189 haha glad you enjoyed it maybe you should pick up a bit of kayaking yourself then, you have a awesome wee flood run right on your doorstep!
