Camp Edwards 2011 Open House/reenactment

See if children are more interesting to watch running the obstacle course than the adults who tried to reenact a WWII battle. Which was more interesting?

Ok there were some mistakes made in the reenactment on Sunday, but next year will be differant. It will be better.

I did not show up because of a magical thing called WORK.  Look it up sometime! This is a hobby and those who can show up will try to show up. Those who cannot show up have previous things to do like WORK!!!!! I am not a disgrace to reenactors and I commented what I did because I believe in standing up for what I believe in and if you want to mock people who reenact then I have the right to mock you.

@panther224 The magical think called work was not justification for your profane comments. Another reenactor said this about your juvenile comment, "I have no idea who that was. We are the 12th SS and we do not talk like that. We keep an eye on our men. I can not speak for the other reenactors. That is their problem. We hope you do not meet up with that squirrel."

12TH SS was there and we had a good showing, with a great display. We also did what we were told to do

That re-enactment was 13 kinds of awful. I hate it (speaking as a german re-eanactor myself) when the event blows because incompetent people plan it.

@burt2481- I do apologize then of earlier I was fired up about how I perceived the video to be. Let us talk like gentlemen then. I will start by saying as reenacting is a hobby not everyone could make it dues to previous issues (i.e. work, sports, family events, etc..) I for one had work, I cannot comment on other reenactors though.

Burt, last years video was great i agree. The public battle was unfortunatly un-viewable at times it happens. There was actually more German Re-enactors than Allied this year. I was the one driving the 1940 Ford also. And I did serve my country.
