Prefer this over the over the original. She puts more emphasis on the emotional value of the lyrics. Making you believe that "Jimmy Does love MaryAnne, no matter what the struggles are.

I wonder how many people know that this is a remake of a 1973 song by The Looking Glass (the group that did "Brandy You're A Fine Girl".

First time I've ever heard this version of Looking Glass' little-known minor hit from the 1970s. I still prefer the original, but Josie does herself proud with this performance.

I never got a chance to see Josie perform back in the 80s. She has a good voice. She reminds me a little bit of Joan Collins (Alexis on Dynasty). LOL. It's the hair.
