I have the 78. RCA-Victor records. Really cool
-
Actually, my mother has this record on a 78. I used to listen to it when we went to my grandmothers. I sang it to my daughter when she was small when I put her to bed. Now, she is is Rmoania minitering to orphaned and abandoned children singing it to children there. I looked for it here when she texted me earlier today to tell me. Thank you so much for posting it here!

I found a magazine called "Song Hits Magazine" in the cracks of an attic, in Hamtramck, Mi. One song in bold print has the title of this song at the top. The copyright was 1949. I want to thank you for giving me the music version to this title.

@bam2k246 I guess that this song was popular in it's day even though it didn't chart. But few remember it today.
I had never heard of it till I saw it on Vaughn's web sight.

I listened to this song every night as a toddler going to sleep. My father was in Japan in 1950, he had a 78 rpm recording made of himself singing this song. He mailed it home to my mother for me and I listened to it every night until Dad came home.

@71227657 That's a nice story. I had never heard this song before a short while ago. I got an e-mail from someone asking me if I had the song and could post it. I didn't have it
and couldn't find a reference to the song anywhere. Then I looked on Vaughn's web site
and they had it in their music room. With their permission I downloaded it and put it on YT. At first I didn't care for the song but the more a workrd with it, it grew on me.
