FreestoreFoodbank Rubber Duck Regatta 2008

The Rubber Duck Regatta is the nation's largest and longest-running rubber duck race. The Duck Regatta occurs at 3:00 p.m. on the Sunday before Labor Day, as part of Riverfest, the WEBN end-of-summer fireworks extravaganza in Cincinnati which draws over a half million people to the riverfront.

Over 85,000 ducks are dropped into the Ohio River from the 'Purple-People' Bridge to paddle down the Ohio River. Each duck is numbered. Ducks can be purchased for $5, but many people opt to "buy 5 and get 1 free" for $25.

The winning duck holder receives a 2008 Honda Fit Sport. And if your winning duck is also the "National City Million Dollar Duck," you will win $1,000,000 also!
